Question 1

How do I book a tour?

Accepted Answer

Booking a tour is simple. Choose the experience or itinerary you’re interested in and follow the booking instructions on the tour page. For tours with fixed departure dates, you can select an available date and book directly. For private or tailor-made tours, send us an enquiry with your preferred dates, number of travellers, and any specific requests. Our team will confirm availability and guide you through the next steps.

Question 2

Can I customize an itinerary?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Many of our tours can be adapted to your travel style, schedule, and interests. We can adjust the duration, accommodation, activities, transportation, and other elements of the itinerary. Simply tell us what you have in mind, and our team will create a proposal based on your preferences.

Question 3

What's included in the price — and what isn't?

Accepted Answer

Inclusions vary depending on the tour. Each tour page clearly lists what is included and excluded, such as accommodation, transportation, guides, activities, entrance fees, or meals. We recommend checking these details before booking. If anything is unclear, our team will be happy to explain exactly what is covered by the quoted price.

Question 4

What's the difference between a deposit and full payment?

Accepted Answer

A deposit is a partial payment used to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due according to the payment terms provided with your reservation. Full payment means paying the entire tour amount at once. The required payment method and deadlines may vary depending on the tour, departure date, and services included.

Question 5

Do you offer group discounts?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Special rates may be available for groups, depending on the number of travellers, itinerary, travel dates, and services required. For larger groups, contact us directly with your group details and we’ll prepare a tailored quotation based on your requirements.

Question 6

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept secure online card payments as well as bank transfers. Available payment options may vary depending on the type of tour or booking. All applicable payment details and instructions will be provided during the booking process.

Question 7

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Cancellation and refund conditions may vary depending on the tour and the services included. The applicable terms, including cancellation deadlines and any refundable or non-refundable amounts, are clearly provided before you confirm your booking. We recommend reviewing these conditions carefully, as some third-party services such as accommodation, transportation, or activities may have their own cancellation policies.

Question 8

How do I use my discount code?

Accepted Answer

Enter your discount code in the designated field during the booking process, before completing your payment. If the code is valid for your selected tour and travel date, the discount will be applied automatically to the eligible amount. Please check the code’s validity period and any specific conditions, as some discount codes may only apply to selected tours or departures.

Question 9

Who do I contact if something goes wrong during my trip?

Accepted Answer

Most of our travellers are accompanied by one of our local guides, who will be your first point of contact and will assist you throughout the trip.

If you are travelling on a self-guided tour, you can contact our team directly using the support and emergency contact details provided with your booking. We are available to assist you if any issue arises during your journey.

For immediate emergencies involving health or safety, please contact the local emergency services first.

Question 10

Can I change my itinerary once the trip has started?

Accepted Answer

Whenever possible, yes. We understand that travel plans can change. Our team can assist with adjustments during your trip, subject to availability and the conditions of the services already booked. Changes to accommodation, transportation, activities, or other arrangements may involve additional costs or may not be refundable.

Question 11

What's the difference between a group and a private tour?

Accepted Answer

A group tour follows a planned itinerary and is shared with other travellers who have booked the same departure. A private tour is arranged exclusively for you and your travel companions, offering greater flexibility in the itinerary, schedule, activities, and services. Private tours can also be customized according to your preferences.

Question 12

Do I need a visa to visit Albania?

Accepted Answer

Visa requirements depend on your nationality and the length and purpose of your stay. Many travellers can enter Albania visa-free for short stays, while others may need to obtain a visa in advance. We recommend checking the latest entry requirements with the official Albanian authorities before travelling, as regulations may change.

Question 13

When is the best time to visit Albania?

Accepted Answer

Albania can be visited year-round, but the best time depends on the experience you are looking for. Spring and autumn are ideal for cultural tours, hiking, and exploring the country with pleasant temperatures. Summer is perfect for the Albanian Riviera, beaches, boat trips, and mountain adventures, while winter is better suited to quieter cultural trips and selected mountain experiences.

Question 14

What should I pack?

Accepted Answer

What you should bring depends on the season and your itinerary. Comfortable walking shoes, lightweight layers, sun protection, and a reusable water bottle are useful for most trips. For hiking and outdoor tours, we recommend suitable footwear, weather-resistant clothing, and a small backpack. Before departure, we will also provide specific recommendations whenever your itinerary requires special clothing or equipment.

Question 15

Is travel insurance required?

Accepted Answer

Travel insurance is not included in our tour packages unless specifically stated. We strongly recommend having comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellation or interruption, lost luggage, and the activities included in your itinerary. For certain adventure activities, additional insurance coverage may be required.
