  • Boat Excursions: All boat trips are operated by licensed providers and follow safety regulations. Safety equipment is available on board, and activities are conducted under professional supervision.
  • Travel Insurance & Requirements: Travel insurance is not included but highly recommended. Participants should verify visa and entry requirements prior to booking.

Cancellation Policy

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 31 days before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 30 days before the experience’s start time, 50% of the total tour price will be refunded.
  • If you cancel less than 15 days before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 7 days before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers.

What To Expect

1

Day 1: Arrival in Tirana and transfer to Shkodër

  • Upon arrival at Tirana International Airport, guests will be warmly greeted by our team for a comfortable transfer. On the way to Shkodër, make a stop in Krujë, a town rich in history and national pride. Explore the legendary Krujë Castle, once the stronghold of Albania’s national hero, Skanderbeg. Visit the Skanderbeg Museum to gain insight into his battles and legacy, then stroll through the old bazaar, where artisans sell traditional crafts, handmade rugs, and unique souvenirs.
  • Enjoy a delicious lunch in Krujë, sampling authentic Albanian flavors at a local restaurant. Afterward, continue the journey to Shkodër, a city known for its cultural heritage and stunning landscapes. Upon arrival, check in at a hotel near the city center and take some time to relax before heading out to explore.
  • As the afternoon unfolds, travel to Shkodra Lake and the charming village of Shiroka for a sunset boat ride. Glide across the tranquil waters, take in the breathtaking views, and observe the diverse birdlife that inhabits the area. After soaking in the peaceful atmosphere, enjoy a delightful dinner in Shiroka, featuring regional specialties, including the famous “Tava e Krapit”—a traditional baked carp casserole.
  • Conclude the day with an overnight stay in Shkodër, preparing for more adventures ahead.

Day 2: Exploring Theth National Park

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Departure to Theth National Park(approx. 2h drive). Stop at Qafë Thore Pass (1700m) for panoramic views (10–15 min). Theth, a picturesque mountain village located in the Albanian Alps, known for its unspoiled natural beauty, breathtaking views of rugged peaks, rivers, and traditional stone houses.
  • Arrival in Theth. Transfer to Nderlysaj. Guided hike (3.5 km, about 1hr) to the Blue Eye of Theth.  A stunning turquoise spring surrounded by lush greenery. The hike is moderate, suitable for nature lovers, and offers incredible photo opportunities.
  • Free time at the Blue Eye for photography, relaxation, or swimming (note: water is very cold in October).
  • Hike back to Nderlysaj (1h).
  • Lunch at a local restaurant. (Optional)
  • Visit Theth Church (1892) and the Lock-in Tower (Kulla e Ngujimit).
  • Guided hike (2.5 km, about 40 min) to Grunas Waterfall.
  • Free time at the waterfall.
  • Hike back (40 min).
  • Return to Theth center and transfer back to Shkodër.
  • Arrival in Shkodër, where hopefully everyone would have the strength to go out and experience Shkoder by night.  It is possible, subject to availability, to have dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: Komani lake and Shala river adventure

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Departure to Koman– Often called the “Albanian Fjords,” is a lake surrounded by dramatic cliffs and crystal-clear waters, making it one of Albania’s most scenic destinations.
  • Arrival in Koman. Embark on a scenic boat ride to “5 Stinet Resort.

5 Stinet Resort’ : await to welcome you and offer a peaceful environment, located along the beautiful Komani Lake with the most amazing shades of blue that melt with the green of the trees.

  • Arrival and kayaking activity at the resort. Those who prefer not to do kayaking, can enjoy the surroundings of the resort.
  • Traditional lunch with local drinks and homemade specialties (Optional).
  • Boat transfer to the Shala River for swimming, kayaking, and further exploration. There is also the possibility of doing zip line.
  • Return boat transfer from Shala River to Koman
  • Arrival in Shkodër.

Free evening and overnight in Shkoder.

Day 4: Jeep Safari to Cape of Rodon & exploration of historic sites

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
  • Departure from Shkodër to Gjiri i Lalëzit.
  • Arrival at Gjiri i Lalezit, we will meet the Jeep Safari team and start the off-road drive (approx. 40 min) to Cape of Rodon.
  • Arrival at the Cape of Rodon, a peninsula rich in history and legend, where we will visit Skanderbeg’s Castle,the Church of St. Anthony, and communist-era military bunkers.
  • Short walk (45–60 min) to the castle and beach area with time to explore and enjoy the scenery.
  • Continuation of the Jeep adventure through remote villages of Lalëzarea.  Lunch can be either a local restaurant or winery with regional wine tasting (own expense).
  • Return back to the meeting point where we will board our transportation and continue our journey to Tirana.

Day 5: Exploring Bogove' Waterfall & Osumi Canyon & Berat

  • Breakfast and after hotel check-out, we will depart from Tirana to Berat.  
  • We will meet with another guide who will guide us during our activity for today and depart from Berat.

Arrival in the village of Bogovë. Begin a 20-minute hike towards the beautiful Bogovë Waterfall.

  • Time at the waterfall. We will enjoy the refreshing atmosphere and, if any wishes, take a swim. (It is recommended that participants wear swimsuits from the morning if planning to swim.)
  • Return hike of approximately 15 minutes back to the minibus.
  • Continue the journey by minibus (around 30 minutes) to explore the spectacular 3-million-year-old Osumi Canyons.
  • First stop at the highest viewpoint of the canyon, standing 150 meters above the river. Time to admire the breathtaking views and take photos.
  • Short drive (about 5 minutes) to visit Abaz Aliu’s Footprint, an important local landmark.
  • Continue to Vrima e Nuses (“Bride’s Hole”) to hear the fascinating legend of this site, while enjoying panoramic canyon views.
  • Short walk to Mulliri i Babait (“Father’s Mill”), followed by a 20-minute walk to explore further.
  • Optional lunch at a local restaurant, featuring traditional dishes and regional specialties.
  • Departure back to Berat. Estimated arrival: 16:30PM

Day 6: Rafting adventure and Gjirokastër exploration

  • An early check out and departure from Berat. Breakfast will be served as packed breakfast.
  • Departure to Përmetand the Vjosa River, one of Europe’s last wild rivers.
  • Arrival at rafting center. Everyone will be equipped with professional rafting gear and receive safety instructions.
  • Transfer to rafting starting point.
  • Begin a two-hour rafting adventureon the Vjosa River, including refreshing breaks for swimming and rock jumping.
  • Completion of rafting and transfer back to the base. Time to shower and change.
  • Optional picnic lunch with fresh local products (€14 pp).
  • Departure to Gjirokastër, known for its slate-roofed houses and historic fortifications.
  • Arrival in Gjirokastër, where we will check-in at the hotel.

Evening at leisure at the “Stone City”, where you can visit the old bazaar, Gjirokaster Castle and The Etnographic Museum.

Day 7: Depart from Gjirokastër to Zvërnec Island

  • Breakfast and check-out.
  • Departure  from Gjirokaster. Enjoy scenic views of Southern Albania as we travel towards the coastal region of Vloraand Zvernec Island. .
  • Arrival at Zvërnec Island, a serene destination located within the Narta Lagoon. Visit the Monastery of St. Mary, a historic 13th – century Orthodox monastery nestled in a tranquil setting.
  • Seafood lunch at a local restaurant (own expense). Those who do not want to have lunch, can walk around and return back at the agreed time.
  • Guided exploration of the Narta Lagoon, known for its unique ecosystem, salt pans and diverse bird species.
  • Departure towards Tirana.
  • Arrival in Tirana where we will check in at the hotel in the city cente.

Rest of the evening at leisure to explore the city centre and enjoy dinner in one of the many restaurants around the city.

Day 8: Visit Pëllumbas Cave, Shëngjergj Waterfall & a Cooking Class

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Departure to Pëllumbas village ( approx. 30 min).
  • Begin a guided hike toPëllumbas Cave, known as the ”Black Cave”. The hike takes around 45 minutes through beautiful forests and landscapes. Once at the cave, learn about the cave’s history and its significance as a prehistoric site.
  • Continue to Shëngjergj village,a picturesque mountain settlement, located about 30min from Pellumbas.
  • Short hike to Shëngjergj Waterfall, a beautiful natural attraction perfect for photography and relaxation.
  • Return back to Tirana.
  • An Experience: “Cooking Class Tirana”

The cooking classes are an authentic cultural and gastronomic experience that allow visitors to discover traditional Albanian cuisine by preparing and enjoying some of the country’s most beloved recipes.

What’s Included:

  • Traditional dishes such as:
  • Free-range chicken with përshesh
  • Savory byrek with cottage cheese and spinach or tomatoes with onions
  • Sheqerpare (traditional Albanian dessert)

After the preparation, guests gather around the table to enjoy the dishes they have cooked, in a warm and festive atmosphere with music, laughter, and often even spontaneous dancing.

Day 9: Return

As the trip comes to an end, guests may have the option to explore Tirana city center or enjoy some free time, depending on the schedule. For the final meal, indulge in a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Tirana. Afterward, you’ll be transferred to Tirana International Airport, where the tour concludes, and guests can catch their flight home.
