  • Cancellations made more than 45 days prior to departure: full refund minus a 5% administrative fee.
  • Cancellations made between 30–44 days prior to departure: 50% of the total tour cost will be charged.
  • Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to departure: no refund.
  • No refund will be provided for unused services or voluntary withdrawal during the tour.
  • Any changes made less than 7 days before the experience start date may not be accepted.

Day 1 – Arrival in Tirana & City Discovery

Please note: The activities planned for this day will take place depending on your arrival time at Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza. If your flight arrives earlier in the day, you will have more time to explore the city. For later arrivals, the program will be adjusted accordingly.

  • Arrival at Tirana International Airport
    Welcome to Albania! Upon arrival at Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza, you will be greeted by our company representative in the arrivals hall, holding a sign with your name. After a warm welcome, you will be transferred by private vehicle to your hotel in Tirana.
  • Hotel check-in & time to rest
    Upon arrival at the hotel, check in and take some time to relax after your journey. This free time allows you to settle in, refresh, and prepare for the first experiences of the tour.
  • Afternoon: Tirana city introduction
    Later in the afternoon, meet your guide and fellow travelers to begin an easy introductory exploration of Albania’s vibrant capital, Tirana. This relaxed walk offers a first glimpse into the city’s fascinating mix of history, culture, and colorful architecture.
  • During the visit you will discover some of Tirana’s most iconic landmarks:
    Skanderbeg Square – the heart of the city, surrounded by important cultural institutions and named after Albania’s national hero.
    Et’hem Bey Mosque – a beautiful 18th-century mosque famous for its detailed frescoes and historical importance.
    Tirana Pyramid – one of the most recognizable monuments in the city, representing an interesting chapter of Albania’s modern history.
  • (Optional) – Cable car ride to Dajti Mountain
    Ascend by cable car to Dajti Mountain, located within Dajti National Park. From the summit, enjoy panoramic views over Tirana and the surrounding countryside. Breathe in the fresh mountain air and take time to relax or enjoy a coffee with a view.
  • Evening: Welcome dinner with the group
    In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner together with the rest of the group at a traditional local restaurant. This is the perfect opportunity to meet your fellow travelers and begin the journey together while tasting some of Albania’s most delicious traditional dishes.

Day 2 – Two Historic Cities: Kruja and Shkoder

  • Krujë – visit the historic Krujë Castle and the traditional Old Bazaar of Krujë.
    Krujë is one of Albania’s most historic towns, set on a hillside beneath the imposing castle of Skanderbeg, the national hero. The city offers beautiful views over the surrounding landscape and a strong sense of Albania’s medieval heritage. Just below the castle lies the famous Old Bazaar, a charming cobblestone market dating back to the Ottoman era. Here, visitors can browse traditional handicrafts, carpets, antiques, and local artisan products—making it the perfect place to experience authentic Albanian culture and craftsmanship.
  • Continue to Shkodër.
  • Visit Rozafa Castle and Museum (~1 hr).
    Rozafa Castle rises above Shkodër on a rocky hill with sweeping views over the Buna, Drin, and Kiri rivers. Steeped in legend and history, the castle’s ruins, walls, and courtyards tell the story of Illyrian, Roman, and Ottoman times. Inside, the small but well-organized museum presents archaeological finds, historical objects, and explanations about the fortress and the city, helping visitors better understand the importance of Rozafa through the centuries.

Day 3 – Cycling & Activities by Shkodra Lake

  • Collect bicycles and cycle from Shkodër to Shirokë, a charming lakeside village. Cycling is a traditional and very common activity in Shkodër—often called the “city of bicycles.” Locals of all ages use bikes daily, and the flat terrain makes it an enjoyable and authentic way to explore the area.
  • Activities at Lake Shkodra:
    -Boat ride (opportunity to observe birdlife—the lake is known for pelicans and other migratory species).
    -Kayaking.
  • Lunch by the lakeside featuring the local specialty Tavë Krapi (traditional baked carp dish).
  • Curiosity: Lake Shkodra is the largest lake in the Balkans, shared between Albania and Montenegro. It is a protected natural oasis, home to over 280 bird species and famous for its clear waters, water lilies, and rich biodiversity.

Day 4 – Exploring Theth

    Enjoy a fresh and energizing breakfast at your hotel in Shkodra before beginning your full-day alpine adventure.
  • Departure for Theth National Park
  • Qafë Thore Pass Stop (10–15 minutes)
    Make a brief stop at Qafë Thore Pass(1,700 m), one of the most famous viewpoints in the Albanian Alps. Capture stunning panoramic photos of rugged mountain peaks and deep valleys before continuing the journey.
  • Arrival in Theth & transfer to Nderlysaj
    Arrive in the picturesque village of Theth, renowned for its pristine nature, traditional stone houses, and dramatic mountainous scenery. Continue by vehicle to the village of Nderlysaj, the starting point of your hike.
  • Guided hike to the Blue Eye of Theth (3.5 km – approx. 1.5 hour)
    Begin a guided moderate-level hike towards the Blue Eye of Theth, a natural turquoise pool fed by underground springs. The trail offers breathtaking views of forests, rock formations, and crystal-clear streams—ideal for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts.
  • Free time at the Blue Eye (30 mins)
    Enjoy time at leisure upon arrival at the Blue Eye. Take photographs, relax by the water, or, for the adventurous, enjoy a refreshing (and very cold) dip—especially chilly in October.
  • Return hike to Nderlysaj (1.5 hour)
    Hike back to Nderlysaj following the same scenic route.

    Continue with visits to two of Theth’s most significant cultural landmarks:

Day 5 – Komani Lake & Shala River Adventure

  • Departure to Lake Koman. Often called the “Albanian Fjords,” this spectacular lake is surrounded by dramatic cliffs and crystal-clear waters, making it one of Albania’s most scenic destinations.
  • Arrival in Koman. Boat transfer to the Shala River for swimming, kayaking, and exploration. There is also the possibility of experiencing a zip line over the river.
  • Free time at Shala River (approx. 2 hours) to relax and enjoy the pristine natural surroundings before continuing another scenic boat trip across Lake Koman toward “5 Stinet Resort”, where breathtaking views and a traditional Albanian lunch await.

Day 6 – Full Day Jeep Safari in Cape of Rodon

  • Morning departure: Start your adventure with an exhilarating 4×4 jeep safari to the Cape of Rodon, a stunning peninsula nestled along Albania’s Adriatic coast. Journey through lush pine forests and rugged off-road trails as you make your way to this captivating destination.
  • Exploring Historical Sites: Once you arrive, immerse yourself in the rich history of the area. Visit the ruins of Skanderbeg Castle, a monument to Albania’s national hero, and explore Anthony Church, a peaceful spot with historical significance. Day 7 – Exploring Bogovë Waterfall & Osumi Canyon – Berat

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check-out
    After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart from Tirana and travel toward the historic city of Berat. Upon arrival, we meet a local guide who will accompany us during today’s outdoor activities before continuing toward the nearby village of Bogovë.
  • Hike to Bogovë Waterfall
    Arrival in the village of Bogovë, where we begin a pleasant 20-minute hike through forested paths leading to the beautiful Bogovë Waterfall.
    Once there, we enjoy time to relax in the refreshing natural setting. Those who wish may take a swim in the cool waters below the waterfall (participants planning to swim are recommended to wear swimsuits from the morning).
    After some free time, we take a 15-minute return hike back to the minibus.
  • Exploring the Osumi Canyons
    We continue by minibus for about 30 minutes toward the impressive Osumi Canyons, a natural wonder formed over millions of years.
    Our first stop is at a panoramic viewpoint located about 150 meters above the river, offering spectacular views of the canyon and surrounding landscape. After time for photos, we take a short 5-minute drive to visit Abaz Aliu’s Footprint, an important local landmark.
    We then continue to Vrima e Nuses (“Bride’s Hole”), where the guide will share the fascinating legend connected to this place while we admire the canyon scenery.
  • Walk to Mulliri i Babait
    A short walk leads us to Mulliri i Babait (“Father’s Mill”), followed by another 20-minute walk to explore the surrounding canyon area and enjoy the peaceful natural environment.
    There will also be the option to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, featuring traditional dishes and regional specialties (optional).
  • Return to Berat
    In the afternoon, we return to Berat with an estimated arrival around 16:30. After hotel check-in, the rest of the evening is free to relax or explore the charming streets of the “City of a Thousand Windows.”

Day 8 – Vjosa River Rafting & Benja Thermal Springs – Gjirokaster

  • Early check-out and departure from Berat
    The day begins with an early check-out from the hotel in Berat. Breakfast will be provided as a packed breakfast to enjoy during the journey as we travel south toward the town of Përmet and the Vjosa River, one of Europe’s last wild and free-flowing rivers.
  • Rafting on the Vjosa River
    Upon arrival at the rafting center, participants will be equipped with professional rafting gear and receive a full safety briefing from experienced guides. We then transfer to the starting point of the adventure.
  • The activity begins with an exciting two-hour rafting experience along the crystal-clear waters of the Vjosa River. During the trip there will be refreshing breaks where participants may swim or try rock jumping, surrounded by the beautiful natural landscape of southern Albania.
  • After completing the rafting route, we transfer back to the base where there will be time to shower and change.
  • There is also the option to enjoy a picnic lunch with fresh local products (optional – €14 per person).
  • Departure to Gjirokastër
    In the afternoon we depart for Gjirokastër, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often called the “Stone City” because of its distinctive stone houses with slate roofs and historic architecture.
  • Upon arrival, we check in at the hotel.
  • Evening at leisure in the Stone City
    The evening is free to explore Gjirokastër’s historic center, including the charming old bazaar, the impressive Gjirokastër Castle, and the Ethnographic Museum, which offers insight into traditional life and culture in the region.

Day 9 – Discover Gjirokaster (UNESCO)

    The day begins with breakfast at the hotel before setting out to explore the historic city of Gjirokastër, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its remarkable stone architecture and rich cultural heritage.
  • Guided visit of Gjirokastër
    During the guided visit we explore some of the city’s most important landmarks:
    Gjirokastër Castle – One of the largest and most impressive fortresses in the Balkans, dramatically positioned above the city. The castle offers panoramic views over the Drino Valley and houses the National Arms Museum, displaying a collection of weapons from different historical periods, as well as military artifacts and a captured U.S. Air Force plane from the Cold War era.
    Old Bazaar – The lively heart of the city, lined with traditional stone buildings, artisan workshops, handicraft shops, and small cafés. It is an ideal place to discover local souvenirs such as handmade carpets, silver jewelry, and traditional Albanian products while enjoying the authentic atmosphere.
    Historic Old Town – Known as the “City of Stone,” Gjirokastër is famous for its distinctive Ottoman-era houses with wooden balconies and slate roofs. These impressive 18th–19th century homes reflect the city’s rich architectural and cultural history.

    In the afternoon, enjoy free time to explore at your own pace, relax at a café in the old bazaar, or continue discovering hidden corners of this charming historic town.

Day 10– Himare & Porto Palermo

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check-out
    After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart from Gjirokastër and drive toward the coastal town of Himarë (approx. 2 hours). The journey offers beautiful views as the road descends toward the Albanian Riviera, where mountains meet the deep blue waters of the Ionian Sea.
  • Water taxi experience along the Albanian Riviera
    From Himarë we begin a 3-hour water taxi experience along the spectacular coastline, stopping at several hidden beaches and historic sites:
    Filikuri Beach – A secluded beach accessible mainly by boat, known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and dramatic cliffs.
    Llaman Beach – A beautiful pebble beach surrounded by rocky hills and deep blue sea, ideal for a short swim or relaxation.
    Submarine Tunnel (Porto Palermo Tunnel) – A fascinating Cold War–era military structure carved into the rock, once used to shelter submarines and naval vessels during Albania’s communist period.
    Porto Palermo Bay – A picturesque natural bay famous for its calm waters and scenic beauty.
  • We also visit Porto Palermo Castle, a well-preserved triangular fortress built in the early 19th century by Ali Pasha of Tepelena, offering panoramic views of the Ionian coast.
  • Lunch by the sea
    Enjoy lunch at a local seaside restaurant, where you can taste fresh seafood and traditional regional dishes while overlooking the crystal-clear waters of the Riviera.
  • Boat ride to Gjipe Beach
    After lunch, we continue by boat along the coastline to Gjipe Beach, one of the most spectacular beaches in Albania. Located between high cliffs at the mouth of Gjipe Canyon, the beach is famous for its wild beauty, turquoise waters, and untouched natural surroundings.
  • Camping experience at Gjipe Beach
    In the evening we enjoy a unique camping experience at Gjipe Beach, spending the night surrounded by nature and the sound of the sea. A professional guide will accompany the group to ensure safety and organization throughout the stay.
    Recommendation: Bring snacks, drinking water, warm clothing for the evening, and any personal items needed for a comfortable night outdoors.

Day 11 – Grama Bay Boat Tour

  • Departure from Gjipe Beach
    After breakfast by the sea, we depart from Gjipe Beach by water taxi, beginning another spectacular boat journey along the Albanian Riviera.

    Today’s 5-hour boat excursion explores some of the Riviera’s most beautiful beaches, hidden coves, and sea caves.
    Stops along the way include:
    Livadhi Beach – A wide beach with clear blue waters, perfect for swimming and relaxing.
    Aquarium Beach – Known for its calm, transparent waters, ideal for snorkeling.
    Jale Beach – A lively coastal spot surrounded by dramatic cliffs and crystal-clear sea.
    Goats Beach – A secluded cove named for the goats often seen on the cliffs above.
    Couples Bay – A quiet and romantic bay, perfect for a peaceful swim.
    Marble Beach – Famous for its smooth white stones and bright turquoise waters.
    Saint Theodore’s Cave – A small coastal cave connected with local history and legends.
    Pirates Cave – A hidden cave along the cliffs, associated with pirate stories of the past.
    During the journey we also pass the coastal villages of Dhërmi and Palasë, known for their beautiful beaches and traditional Riviera scenery, as well as Saint Andrew Beach, a picturesque cove with crystal-clear waters.
  • Stop at Grama Bay
    The highlight of the excursion is an extended stop at Grama Bay (approx. 1.5 hours). Surrounded by dramatic cliffs and clear turquoise water, this remote bay offers time for swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing in one of the most beautiful natural spots along the Albanian coast.
  • Return to Himarë
    In the afternoon we return by boat to Himarë, where the rest of the evening is free to relax and enjoy the seaside atmosphere.

Day 12 – Llogara National Park Hike – Vlore

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check-out
    After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Vlorë (approx. 2 hours). The scenic drive follows the Albanian Riviera before climbing into the mountains toward Llogara National Park.
  • Arrival at Llogara National Park
    Upon arrival, we first stop at the Information Center, where we learn about the park’s ecological importance, its rich flora, and diverse fauna. Llogara is home to rare bird species, wild goats, and many endemic plants that thrive in this protected mountain environment.
  • Guided hike in Llogara National Park
    We begin a guided hike starting from the Information Center, following a scenic trail through dense forests of pine and fir. The vegetation and fresh mountain air create an atmosphere that sometimes feels like a small alpine jungle.
    Hike duration: approximately 4–5 hours, depending on the group’s pace
    Trail highlight: the Deep Neck viewpoint, offering breathtaking panoramic views over the Ionian Sea and Saint Andrew Bay, one of the most impressive vistas in southern Albania
  • After enjoying the views, we return along the same scenic trail back to the starting point.
  • Lunch and return to Vlorë
    Following the hike, we enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, featuring traditional dishes and regional products from the Llogara area.
    Afterward, we drive back to Vlorë, where we check in at the hotel.

Day 13 – Zvërnec Island & Narta Lagoon – Tirana

    After breakfast and hotel check-out, we begin the day with a short drive to the coastal area near Vlorë to visit one of the region’s most peaceful landmarks.
  • Visit to Zvërnec Island & Monastery of St. Mary
    We visit Zvërnec Island, a small and picturesque island connected to the mainland by a long wooden bridge. Surrounded by the calm waters of the Narta Lagoon and shaded by tall pine trees, the island offers a serene and atmospheric setting.
    At its center stands the Monastery of St. Mary, a beautifully preserved 13th-century Byzantine church known for its stone architecture, quiet courtyard, and spiritual ambiance. It is considered one of the most iconic religious landmarks in the region.
  • Lunch by the lagoon
    After the visit, there will be time to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, where guests can taste fresh seafood and traditional regional specialties.
  • Guided visit of Narta Lagoon
    In the afternoon, we explore Narta Lagoon, an important protected ecosystem known for its rich biodiversity. The lagoon is home to many migratory birds, including flamingos and herons, and is also famous for its traditional salt pans, which have been used for salt production for centuries.
  • Return to Tirana
  • Later we depart for Tirana (approx. 2.5 hours). Upon arrival, we check in at our hotel in the city center.
