  • Physical Requirements: Moderate physical fitness is recommended. Some days include walking tours, light hiking, and outdoor activities on uneven terrain.
  • Boat Excursions: All boat trips are operated by licensed providers and follow safety regulations. Safety equipment is available on board, and activities are conducted under professional supervision.
  • Travel Insurance & Requirements: Travel insurance is not included but highly recommended. Participants should verify visa and entry requirements prior to booking.
  • Included services: A professional guide, transportation, and all admission fees are covered in the price.

 

Cancellation Policy

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 31 days before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 30 days before the experience’s start time, 50% of the total tour price will be refunded.
  • If you cancel less than 15 days before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 7 days before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers.

What To Expect

Day 1: Arrival in Tirana – Welcome to Albania

• Arrival at Tirana International Airport, where your guide will be waiting to greet you. Enjoy a private transfer to your hotel in Tirana, Albania’s vibrant and rapidly evolving capital.

• Check-in at the hotel and take some time to rest and settle in, preparing for the exciting journey ahead. Choose between two unforgettable adventures:

Option 1: Pellumbas Cave & Shengjergj Waterfall

  • Scenic drive to Pellumbas village, followed by a hike to the ancient Pellumbas Cave, one of Albania’s few explored karst caves.

  • Continue to Shengjergj Waterfall, a picturesque waterfall nestled in lush surroundings.

  • Lunch at a local restaurant, enjoying traditional Albanian cuisine.

  • Return to Tirana for an afternoon of urban exploration: wander through Skanderbeg Square, visit local museums, or relax in the stylish Blloku district.

  • Optional dinner at a rooftop restaurant with panoramic city views.

  • Overnight stay in Tirana.

Option 2: Bovilla Lake & Dajti Mountain

  • Trip to Bovilla Lake with a hike to the top of Gamti Mountain, offering panoramic views over the rugged countryside.

• Explore the lagoon’s unique biodiversity and, if you choose, enjoy a peaceful kayak ride through its tranquil waters. Spot Dalmatian pelicans and admire the unspoiled natural beauty of the area.

• Lunch at a local seafood restaurant, featuring fresh regional specialties.

• Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage town of Berat.

• Upon arrival, enjoy a wine tasting experience at a local winery before checking into your hotel.

• Evening stroll through Berat Castle and the historic Mangalem and Gorica neighborhoods, where cobbled streets and stone houses whisper tales of the past.

• Overnight in Berat.

Day 3: Vjosa river rafting & Gjirokastra

• Set off early from Berat and drive to Përmet, a picturesque town on the banks of the Vjosa River.

• Return to Ksamil for a restful evening.

• Overnight in Ksamil.

Day 6: Butrint National Park & Saranda by night

• Start the day with a short drive to Butrint National Park, one of the most impressive archaeological sites in the Balkans.

• Explore the ancient ruins, including the well-preserved Greek theater, Roman villas, and medieval fortifications, all set amidst lush greenery and a rich natural landscape.

• In the afternoon, continue to Sarandë and check into your hotel.

• Afternoon and evening at leisure: relax at the beach, stroll through the town, or experience Saranda’s vibrant nightlife at one of its seaside bars.

• Overnight in Sarandë.

Day 7: Return

• This morning, depart from Sarandë and journey north toward Tirana International Airport.
