  • Booking Confirmation: Your reservation is confirmed only after payment is received. A deposit may be required to secure your booking.

  • Accommodation: Participants will stay in carefully selected 4-star hotels, offering comfort, cleanliness, and quality service throughout the journey.
  • Physical Requirements: Moderate physical fitness is recommended. Some days include walking tours, light hiking, and outdoor activities on uneven terrain.
  • Boat Excursions: All boat trips are operated by licensed providers and follow safety regulations. Safety equipment is available on board, and activities are conducted under professional supervision.
  • Travel Insurance & Requirements: Travel insurance is not included but highly recommended. Participants should verify visa and entry requirements prior to booking.
  • Included services: A professional guide, transportation, and all admission fees are covered in the price.

 

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 45 days prior to departure: full refund minus a 5% administrative fee.
  • Cancellations made between 30–44 days prior to departure: 50% of the total tour cost will be charged.
  • Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to departure: no refund.
  • No refund will be provided for unused services or voluntary withdrawal during the tour.
  • Any changes made less than 7 days before the experience start date may not be accepted.
  • Certain tours require a minimum number of participants. If this minimum is not met, clients will be offered an alternative date/experience or a full refund
  • If an experience is canceled due to unsafe weather conditions, clients will be offered an alternative date or an appropriate refund.

What To Expect

Day 1 – Arrival in Tirana & City Discovery

Please note: The activities planned for this day will take place depending on your arrival time at Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza. If your flight arrives earlier in the day, you will have more time to explore the city. For later arrivals, the program will be adjusted accordingly.

  • Arrival at Tirana International Airport
    Welcome to Albania! Upon arrival at Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza, you will be greeted by our company representative in the arrivals hall, holding a sign with your name. After a warm welcome, you will be transferred by private vehicle to your hotel in Tirana.
  • Hotel check-in & time to rest
    Upon arrival at the hotel, check in and take some time to relax after your journey. This free time allows you to settle in, refresh, and prepare for the first experiences of the tour.
  • Afternoon: Tirana city introduction
    Later in the afternoon, meet your guide and fellow travelers to begin an easy introductory exploration of Albania’s vibrant capital, Tirana. This relaxed walk offers a first glimpse into the city’s fascinating mix of history, culture, and colorful architecture.
  • During the visit you will discover some of Tirana’s most iconic landmarks:
    Skanderbeg Square – the heart of the city, surrounded by important cultural institutions and named after Albania’s national hero.
    Et’hem Bey Mosque – a beautiful 18th-century mosque famous for its detailed frescoes and historical importance.
    Tirana Pyramid – one of the most recognizable monuments in the city, representing an interesting chapter of Albania’s modern history.
  • (Optional) – Cable car ride to Dajti Mountain
    Ascend by cable car to Dajti Mountain, located within Dajti National Park. From the summit, enjoy panoramic views over Tirana and the surrounding countryside. Breathe in the fresh mountain air and take time to relax or enjoy a coffee with a view.
  • Evening: Welcome dinner with the group
    In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner together with the rest of the group at a traditional local restaurant. This is the perfect opportunity to meet your fellow travelers and begin the journey together while tasting some of Albania’s most delicious traditional dishes.
  • You will have the chance to try a variety of Albanian specialties, prepared with fresh local ingredients, while your guide introduces the exciting experiences planned for the upcoming days.

Day 2 – Shkoder Visit

  • Departure for Shkodra
    Begin your journey northward toward the historic city of Shkodra. Enjoy scenic views of the Albanian countryside as your guide provides insights into the region’s culture, history, and traditions.
  • Arrival in Shkodra & hotel check-in
    Arrive in Shkodra, one of Albania’s oldest and most culturally rich cities. Proceed with check-in at your selected hotel. Take approximately one hour to refresh, relax, and prepare for the afternoon activities.
  • Guided walking tour of Shkodra Old Town
    Embark on a pleasant walking tour through Shkodra’s charming old town. Stroll along the pedestrian streets known for their lively atmosphere, traditional architecture, and local artisan shops.
    Optional: Visit the Marubi National Museum of Photography, home to one of the most important photographic archives in the Balkans.
  • Visit to Shiroka Village & Lake Shkodra
    Continue to the lakeside village of Shiroka, known for its serene landscape and picturesque views of Lake Shkodra. Enjoy a leisurely exploration of the area, with your guide highlighting local history and natural features.
  • Sunset – Private boat ride on Lake Shkodra (1 hour)
    Experience a tranquil one-hour private boat ride on Lake Shkodra during sunset. Witness the sky’s changing colors reflecting over the water, creating an unforgettable and peaceful atmosphere.
  • Dinner & traditional food tasting (included)

Day 3 – Explore Theth National Park

    Enjoy a fresh and energizing breakfast at your hotel in Shkodra before beginning your full-day alpine adventure.
  • Departure for Theth National Park
  • Qafë Thore Pass Stop (10–15 minutes)
    Make a brief stop at Qafë Thore Pass (1,700 m), one of the most famous viewpoints in the Albanian Alps. Capture stunning panoramic photos of rugged mountain peaks and deep valleys before continuing the journey.
  • Arrival in Theth & transfer to Nderlysaj
    Arrive in the picturesque village of Theth, renowned for its pristine nature, traditional stone houses, and dramatic mountainous scenery. Continue by vehicle to the village of Nderlysaj, the starting point of your hike.
  • Guided hike to the Blue Eye of Theth (3.5 km – approx. 1.5 hour)
    Begin a guided moderate-level hike towards the Blue Eye of Theth, a natural turquoise pool fed by underground springs. The trail offers breathtaking views of forests, rock formations, and crystal-clear streams—ideal for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts.
  • Free time at the Blue Eye (30 mins)
    Enjoy time at leisure upon arrival at the Blue Eye. Take photographs, relax by the water, or, for the adventurous, enjoy a refreshing (and very cold) dip—especially chilly in October.
  • Return hike to Nderlysaj (1.5 hour)
    Hike back to Nderlysaj following the same scenic route.
  • Traditional lunch.
    Savor a delicious traditional lunch , featuring regional specialties prepared with fresh local ingredients.
  • Cultural visits: Theth Church & Lock-in Tower
    Continue with visits to two of Theth’s most significant cultural landmarks:
  • Theth Church (1892): A charming alpine church surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery.
  • Transfer back to Shkodra
    Depart Theth in the late afternoon and relax during the return drive to Shkodra.
  • Depart from Shkoder to Tirana. Overnight in Tirana.

Day 4 – Osumi Canyon Hike & Berat

  • Breakfast & hotel check-out
    Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before checking out. Shortly afterward, depart from Tirana for the UNESCO city of Berat, traveling comfortably by private vehicle. The drive takes approximately two hours and offers scenic landscapes of central Albania.
  • Arrival in Berat & meet your local activity guide
    Upon arrival in Berat, meet your specialized local guide who will accompany you throughout the day’s outdoor and cultural activities. After a short briefing, continue your journey deeper into the natural wonders surrounding the region.
  • Arrival in Bogovë Village
    Reach the charming village of Bogovë, the starting point of your nature adventure. Prepare for the hike by ensuring comfortable footwear and, if planning to swim, wearing a swimsuit from the morning is recommended.
  • 20-Minute Guided Hike to Bogovë Waterfall
    Begin a short yet scenic 20-minute hike through lush forest paths leading to the Bogovë Waterfall, one of the most stunning natural attractions in the area.
    Upon arrival, enjoy free time to relax, take photographs, or swim in the crystal-clear, refreshingly cold waters.
  • Return hike (Approx. 15 Minutes)
    Hike back to the minibus through the same beautiful forested trail.
  • Transfer to Osumi Canyons (Approx. 30 Minutes)
    Continue by minibus toward the magnificent Osumi Canyons, a 3-million-year-old geological wonder known for its dramatic cliffs, emerald waters, and impressive rock formations.
  • Visit to the highest canyon viewpoint
    Arrive at the canyon’s highest viewpoint, standing roughly 150 meters above the river. Enjoy time to take in the breathtaking panoramic scenery and capture spectacular photographs.
  • Visit to Vrima e Nuses (“Bride’s Hole”)
    Continue toward Vrima e Nuses, also known as the “Bride’s Hole.” Here, your guide will narrate the local legend associated with the site, while you enjoy commanding views of the surrounding canyon walls and river valley.
  • Traditional lunch at a local restaurant 
    Savor a hearty lunch at a local restaurant featuring authentic dishes and regional specialties, offering a delicious introduction to Berat’s culinary tradition.
  • Return to Berat – Estimated arrival at 4:30 PM
    After lunch, return to Berat, arriving in the late afternoon.
  • Check-In at your hotel in berat
    Settle into your accommodation and enjoy some time to relax.
  • Evening at leisure in the ‘City of a Thousand Windows’
    Spend the rest of the evening exploring Berat at your own pace. Wander through its charming streets, admire the distinctive Ottoman-era architecture, and experience the warm local ambiance that gives Berat its nickname—the ‘City of One Over One Windows’.

Day 5 – Vjosa River Rafting & Gjirokastër

    Begin your day early with a packed breakfast prepared by the hotel. After collecting your meal, proceed with check-out and prepare for the scenic journey ahead.
  • Departure for Përmet & the Vjosa River
    Depart towards the charming town of Përmet, renowned for its warm hospitality and as the gateway to the Vjosa River, one of Europe’s last wild, free-flowing rivers. Enjoy tranquil morning views as you travel through valleys, forests, and traditional rural landscapes.
  • Arrival at the Përmet Rafting Center
    Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed by the rafting staff and provided with full professional rafting equipment, including wetsuits, helmets, paddles, and life jackets. A detailed safety orientation will be given to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience.
  • Transfer to the rafting starting point
    Board the designated minibus and head to the rafting start location. Here, expert rafting guides will deliver a comprehensive technical briefing, covering paddling instructions, river navigation, and safety guidelines.
  • Rafting adventure on the Vjosa River (Approx. 2 Hours)
    Begin your unforgettable rafting journey through the pristine waters of the Vjosa. The route features a combination of gentle rapids and calm sections, suitable for both beginners and adventure seekers.
    During the descent, enjoy several refreshing breaks for swimming, rock-jumping, and capturing stunning photos of the untouched natural surroundings.
  • Completion of rafting & return to the rafting center
    Upon finishing the rafting experience, transfer back to the rafting center. Guests may take advantage of the available facilities to shower, change into dry clothes, and relax after the adventure.
  • Picnic Lunch 
    For those who wish, a picnic lunch can be arranged, featuring fresh local products and traditional flavors from the Përmet region—an ideal way to unwind in a natural setting.
  • Transfer to Gjirokastër
    Depart Përmet and travel towards Gjirokastër, a UNESCO World Heritage city known for its remarkable stone architecture and rich cultural history.
  • Arrival in Gjirokastër & Check-in at Hotel
    Arrive in the historic city and check in at your hote, located within walking distance of the old town’s highlights.
  • Evening at leisure in the “Stone City”
    Spend the remainder of the evening exploring Gjirokastër at your own pace. Stroll through its charming cobbled streets, admire the iconic stone-roofed houses, or enjoy dinner at one of the local restaurants overlooking the city.

Day 6 – Blue Eye, Mesopotam Monastery & Ksamil

    Depart for the Blue Eye (Syri i Kaltër), one of Albania’s most famous natural wonders. The drive takes you through scenic landscapes of southern Albania, offering views of rolling hills, rivers, and lush greenery.

    Arrive at the Blue Eye and enjoy a guided visit to this magical natural spring. Known for its striking turquoise and deep sapphire colors, the Blue Eye is surrounded by dense vegetation and pristine nature.
